Internet Service Vacation Policy

A customer that will be gone for less than two months may request their service be changed to Vacation Status. Border to Border must be notified at least two weeks prior to departure.

Vacation Status

1. Rate is $12.50 per month billable to account address.
2. Network Operations suspends (blocks) Border internet access.
3. Equipment left in place.
4. If vacation status is initiated in the first half of the month, the fee for that month is the normal (active) rate. If vacation status is initiated in the last half of the month, the fee for that month is the vacation rate.
5. To return to active status requires:
   a. Notification of Border Customer Service
   b. Payment of all Vacation fees.
6. Returning to active status in the first half of the month requires payment of a full month's normal fee for that month. Returning to active status in the last half of the month, the fee remains at Vacation rate for the remainder of the month.
